About Our Chapter

Our chapter consists of mothers in various stages of motherhood with activities to accommodate all of them. We offer mothers a way to reach out and to connect to other mothers in the area through chapter meetings and events for moms and for kids. Members are also welcomed to join our online chapter loop which provides a medium for communicating with other members and our trade loop where members are welcome to advertise items for sale. We share information with each other on topics ranging from parenting issues, restaurant advice and shopping experiences. It is a beneficial resource that our chapter values. Chapter Meetings
Chapter meetings are held on the third Monday of most months at 7:30 PM at Our Savior Lutheran Church 670 Newark Pompton Turnpike Pompton Plains, NJ 07444. These meetings are for Moms only, but newborns (up to 6 months) are welcome. Feel free to check us out. Click here for a map.

Many of our meetings include guest speakers. Some topics we have enjoyed in the past include financial planning, speech therapy, self defense for women and children, how to develop your child’s interest in reading, and organization skills. Other meetings are facilitated discussion among our members about topics of interest including recipe exchanges, swap meets, coping with holiday stress, money saving tips, and parenting issues.

Mothers & More Activities
Our calendar is filled with many activities for the kids as well as the Moms. From playgroups to social clubs to events and activities, each one is designed to encourage social skills and creativity for the children and to provide an opportunity for the Moms to meet new people, make new friends and learn from each other.

Activities for the Kids
Activities for the kids include Mom & Tot outings, playgroups and other events. Mom & Tot outings give us the opportunity to expose our children to different things and to take them places that we normally wouldn't on our own. Some of our Mom & Tots have included trips to various area zoos, indoor play places, parks and seasonal events like Strawberry & Pumpkin picking. Playgroups are made up of children of similar ages and provide an opportunity for both children and moms to socialize. Other events include activities like the Fall Craft and Family Picnic.

Activities for Moms Only

As mothers, we all know how important it is to get out without the kids and enjoy conversations with other Moms. We offer many activities throughout the month that are for Moms only. They include, chapter meetings, moms nights out, seasoned moms, scrapbooking club, book club and the cooking club.
